landscape as resource

The project concept is the maximum integration into the existing landscape of the Ivanovka River, that is, the careful incorporation of new objects into the existing context, relief and landscaping. The overgrown riverbed is planned to be cleaned and expanded, as it was before, reviving the lost biodiversity. A boardwalk elevated above ground level creates an embankment that fits into the environment without disturbing coastal habitats. At the intersection of people's flows, "spots" of different functional intensity organically appear: a playground, a skate park and exercise machines for adults, entrance groups, places for quiet relaxation or a wooden amphitheater near the water. The history of the park is emphasized by landscaping with information stands around the old defensive bunkers - German tobruks. It is proposed to supplement the local flora with perennial plants natural for the given climate, blooming at different times, making the park all-weather attractive. Environmental friendliness and harmony with nature - this is the main vector of the park.
